If you’re looking for a cost-effective alternative to these, our collection of Quasar Colour/Rainbow LED tubes might appeal. We carry them in both the 2′ and 4′ lengths. These are particularly useful if you want to rent just a couple of tubes rather than a complete Astera kit.

The Quasar Colour/Rainbow LED Tubes were among the first of the RGB tube lights to market. And they’re still really useful if you have the set up that allows for a wired connection. The tubes can be programmed individually to deliver top quality RGBX colour. They also provide really powerful white light across the range from 2000° Candlelight to 6000° Daylight Kelvin.

All Quasar Q50-R Rainbow Lamps are equipped with onboard digital interface giving you command of Intensity, Kelvin, Hue & Saturation. Each Quasar Q50-R lamp has a built in Lumen Radio CRMX chip for wireless control. The Rainbow tubes can also be wired to DMX via Cat5 I/O Port.

The Quasar Q50-R lamp is Self Ballasted AC input utilizing Neutrik True1 locking connector as well as locking Barrel connector for DC input.
