Colour changing LED fresnel

Now we have a range of RGB panels like the SL1 Mix and the Kino Select Freestyle. But the Hornet 200-C from Hive is something different. This LED fresnel gives higher output to a 650K incandescent from only 150 watts of power. Omni colour technology uses a combination of LEDs to create a complete and even colour spectrum. LEDs in 7 different colours are combined to give you brilliant white balanced light and the full colour range in a single fixture. We’re always on the lookout for lights that can multitask, and the Hornet 200-C is certainly up for that.

Total control at your fingertips

At only 2kg, the Hornet is the perfect portable key light for photo and video work. Forget about gels. Now dial up any colour you want, or the free Hive app on your phone to match any existing output. The Hornet 200-C uses Hive’s ‘Perfect S.H.O.T’ system to put you in control. This means you can minutely adjust the Saturation, Hue, Output and Colour temperature from the on-light menu. You can access this feature remotely via DMX or on the phone app. The app also gives you access to a range of special effects that can also be selected on the fixture.

Compatible with industry standard accessories

Hive made sure when designing the Hornet 200-C to give you as many options as possible. Mount Hive’s adjustable fresnel adapter to the front of the unit to adjust the beam angle from a full flood to a tight spot. The Hornet 200-C comes with barn-doors to direct the light. Use any separate HDP lens or a standard speed ring to add industry standard chimeras for softer light.  You can run this light from a Vlok battery or universal wall power. This means you get a powerful colour-changing LED fresnel that can also give you full-colour soft light.
