So what’s actually in the kit.

• 2x triple layer reusable cotton mask – washable and handmade from fabric scraps

We make these masks ourselves from 100% cotton fabric scraps in a various zingy shades of, you’ve guessed it, green. No mask is comfortable, but this is at least adjustable, and wearing a mask is, well it’s just polite, if you can’t social distance.

• 1 pair fairtrade rubber gloves

Gloves are not the answer, no matter what the question but disposable gloves are worse that useless. They carry germs around, are hot and sweaty, and always end up in landfill. So, if you have to wear gloves, try these. They are made from fairly traded rubber and you can wash them and reuse them.

• 1 bottle Ocean Saver anti bacterial cleaner

Our new favourite cleaning product. Recycled, refillable plastic bottle for life! With a handy sachet of concentrated eco-friendly cleaning solution. Just fill bottle with warm water, add sachet and shake. When you run out just buy another tiny sachet. No bottles to recycle, chuck away or otherwise dispose of. Genius! Smaller sachet size means easy shipment = fewer travel miles. Extra smart!

• 1x viscose washable cleaning cloth

Super-asborbent, plastic free, washable cleaning cloth. Not rocket science, just sensible.

• 1x bar eco-friendly soap

You know your mum was right.  Sing Happy Birthday, sing something ruder, but wash your hands for 20 seconds as often as you can. Bar soap lasts longer, generates no plastic waste and is way better for your skin and for the environment. Our soaps will vary by smell and brand, but will always be plastic free, skin friendly and not tested on animals.

• 1x skin friendly aloe hand sanitiser

We dithered about this one. It’s expensive for what it is, and it does have a bottle – even if a recycled one. But some of you won’t be near a tap. It’s not as good, or as effective as soap, but sometimes needs must. This is the most eco-friendly choice we could find
