The EasyRig Vario 5 will provide support either light or camera or indeed anything up to 5-17kg – as long as it has a handle for the easy-to-use hook to grip onto. This rig is a versatile, all-round solution and totally adjustable for a comfortable fit. We were keen to supply a rig that can be worn by both men and women. That’s why this model has a modified vest and reinforced upper chest for all-day comfort.

Because we like to practise what we breach some of our team tested this EasyRig with the Sony FS7 II Camera. They found the vest very supportive and comfortable whilst carrying the camera for long periods of time. We also tried operating the hefty Astera AX10 to see how portable it can be with the Vario 5. Being able to handhold the light without the limitations of stands and clamps made for faster more precise operation. Not only that, the freedom of movement encourages you to be more creative with light.

Good for most cameras with a short arm for shoulder or hip mount but preferred with viewfinder system as the camera is in close proximity to operator’s body.
