On this commercial for ethical investment company, Positive Money, Brian Strange chose lights that are not just energy efficient. The Icelight can run for a full hour before it needs recharging. It’s light and slim so it’s an easy fixture to use in a tight space. The Trucolor has the same punch as a 4K tungsten but you can switch panels quickly and easily between daylight and tungsten. We’re really pleased that this commercial, which is part of Positive Money’s campaign to encourage a new form of ethical banking, was shot using only Greenkit energy efficient film lights.
Positive Money are looking at the way the economy is set up and also have an interesting take on why people stop focusing on environmental issues when money is tight. We agree that it’s all about doing more with less and energy efficient film lights have a part to play here. If they are also flexible enough so that DPs only need one light like the Trucolor when they used to use two, that means we’re all saving time, money, space on a truck, transport miles, electricity.
